Redwood Software is seeking a creative and professional communications leader to represent external, executive and corporate communications. You will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and lead a team that functions as an in-house agency supporting our enterprise automation business.

The senior manager of corporate communications has experience developing and pitching relevant stories and thought leadership perspectives to various media channels in support of growing Redwood brand awareness and creating reputational air cover for our global sales and partner teams. The ideal candidate will know and love technology media trends and has experience in influencer marketing, targeting both enterprise IT and business leaders, especially CIOs and CFOs.

Responsibilities
  • Manage media relations for Redwood, including pitching editors who cover enterprise IT and financial accounting beats, preparing and distributing company news releases, researching proactive media opportunities, and facilitating interviews with company spokespeople
  • Work with marketing leadership to uncover and foster relevant opportunities that may extend beyond traditional media relations, such as with content, thought leadership, event marketing, and/or award opportunities
  • Develop written materials, including company briefing documents, press releases, pitch letters, and other marketing collateral
Skills
  • 4-6 years of communications experience in the enterprise B2B software market, spanning media/public relations, social media management, and analyst/influencer relations
  • BA/BS in marketing/business/communications
  • Highly effective team player, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
