To succeed in this role, you are a confident writer of enterprise software documentation who is passionate about learning new concepts and clearly explaining complex software technologies. This position offers continuous learning and frequent direct interaction with enthusiastic customers who rely on Redwood Software documentation every day to accelerate their work tasks.

You will be required to provide writing samples that showcase your ability to write for a technical audience as a requirement for consideration for this position..

  • Write clear and accurate documentation based on information gathered from peers, technical specifications, and actual system use.
  • Write for SaaS and on-premise environments with frequent updates to the documentation and prescriptive guidance that helps customers succeed quickly.
  • Work closely with our development team, product managers, solutions architects, and sales teams to define documentation requirements and produce customer-facing docs.
  • 4+ years technical writing experience for an enterprise software company.
  • Ability to read, write, and compile technical documents, including feature descriptions, customer use cases, and release notes using industry best practices
  • Experience documenting complex software systems that are configured through API endpoints and command-line interfaces.
