Job Role

As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for building our enterprise level Redwood soultions, for companies such as Virgin, Universal, Allianz and SAP. You will work on an up-to-date technology stack, in an agile environment and have complete ownership over front end as well as back end development of our solution.  

Responsibilities
  • Partner with the product management team to define, design and implement new functionality for Redwood Robotics.
  • Own the development process, taking ideas from concept to implementation using mock-ups and customer feedback as appropriate.
  • Support and improve existing Redwood Robotics functionality, provide technical mentorship to your colleagues, and analyse and resolve intricate technical challenges.
Skills
  • Strong Java development and database skills. Experience implementing J2EE web applications using JSP, Servlets, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Proficiency in Java/J2EE API's: JDBC, JMX, JAXP and generic XML API's.
  • You must have good command of the English language and excellent shell scripting knowledge, (ideally cross-platform). Experience across these areas is a plus: SAP knowledge: ABAP, NetWeaver and OS knowledge: Windows, UNIX, (especially Linux, also Solaris, AIX, HPUX)
  • Ideally an understanding of ReactJS, MobX and TypeScript
