Copywriter (Finance)

Redwood Software is looking for a talented copywriter with experience in the finance industry to develop concepts and copy for a range of high-profile marketing communications, with a focus on digital ads, email and webpages. The ideal candidate will have experience writing within the finance industry, or another highly-regulated industry. If you have experience and have a solid portfolio of writing samples, then we would like to hear from you!  

Responsibilities
  • Produce copy according to brand guidelines and in voice for traditional and new media formats
  • Quickly become an expert in our business, products, and customer-centric brand
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines, from quick-turns to longer, in-depth projects
Skills
  • Experience in advertising/marketing copywriting, with a focus on consumer direct response and digital platforms
  • Direct experience with several (or all) of the following marketing tactics: marketing strategy, blogging, email marketing, social media management, PR, website copywriting, market research, SEO (as it pertains to content creation), digital and print advertising campaigns, and tagline development
  • Ability to translate and simplify complex concepts into everyday consumer language
