The Active Monitoring module enhances the SAP CPS environment by detecting exceptions across the process automation environment, raising alerts, and managing escalation automatically, enabling dynamic response to change.

Flexible Monitoring Framework
Fully integrated into the SAP CPS administration interface, the Active Monitoring module is a framework built around a number of reusable objects that monitor the health of the environment, ensuring reliable process execution and early warning in case of exceptions.

Through the definition of flexible escalation rules, Active Monitoring uses SAP CPS and third party monitoring probes to detect and respond to problems that could impact IT workload process efficiency and service level delivery.

Active Auditing™

The ability to track changes made to the IT environment is particularly important in process automation. The Redwood Active Auditing™ module for SAP Central Process Scheduling tracks and records change activity in the process automation environment.

Improved Visibility and Accountability
Redwood Active Auditing monitors the entire SAP CPS environment, logs changes made to managed objects including who made them and when, and makes the data accessible directly through a plug-in to the SAP CPS user interface. The result is increased visibility and accountability.

The SAP CPS user interface enables a secure global view of all change details.  Redwood Active Auditing goes beyond typical auditing capabilities by enabling point-in-time rollback at object level as well as across the entire environment.

Active Archiving™

Improved Information Management and Compliance
Redwood Active Archiving™ archives all information associated with job execution including definition, log, and output data securely outside the SAP CPS core environment.

Secure Access
The Active Archiving module’s Archive Server component enhances security by allowing only authorized users to access archived data. With the easy-to-use Web interface, data can be retrieved from anywhere with access to the Internet.
