Responsibilities:
- The development and cultivation of relationships with prospective clients via outbound sales calls and finding/creating qualified revenue opportunities.
- Tracking leads through the sales cycle, including email campaigns, webinars, inbound calls, and tradeshows and provide prospecting and qualification support for our field sales team.
- Assisting field sales partner in achieving and exceeding revenue quotas.
- Manage the early stages of the sales process through communicating benefits of our software and services to prospective customers, while simultaneously educating prospects value of our company.
- Work with partners to engage with their customers, demonstrate value, develop opportunities, and assist them in the sales process.
- Maintain accurate and extensive records of sales prospects, activity and pipeline.
- Manage a group of current customers while working to create and close license and services revenue opportunities.
- Work to help achieve both revenue/quota goals for your personal quota and those of your field/inside team.
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, and the desire to promote and sell products and services to decision makers.
- High level of skill in oral and written communications to include professional and confident telephone skills.
- High level of skill in partnership and team building.
- Excellent customer skills and presence as demonstrated by a customer-focused attitude.
- Strong personal computer skills including sales tools/CRM applications.
- Must be highly motivated, competitive, and a self-starter.
- Excellent problem solving abilities and detail orientation.
- BA or BS degree (preferably with a technical or business concentration).
Preferred
At least one to three years of inside sales experience, with quota carrying responsibility, and proven success selling enterprise software or hardware.
Must have successful experience prospecting customers and developing leads.
