Responsibilities:
- Develop and cultivate relationships with prospective clients via outbound sales calls and finding/creating qualified revenue opportunities.
- Track leads through the sales cycle including email campaigns, webinars, inbound calls and tradeshows, and provide prospect and qualification support for the field sales team.
- Assist field sales partners in achieving and exceeding revenue quotas.
- Manage the early stages of the sales process by communicating the benefits of our software and services to prospective customers, while simultaneously educating prospects on the value of our company.
- Work with partners to engage their customers, demonstrate value, develop opportunities, and assist in the sales process.
- Maintain accurate, detailed records of sales prospects, activity and the sales pipeline.
- Manage a group of current customers while working to create and close license and services revenue opportunities.
- Work to achieve personal revenue and quota goals as well as those of your field sales and inside teams.
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- The desire to promote and sell products and services to decision makers.
- High level of oral and written communication skills including professional and confident telephone manners.
- High level of skill in partnership and team building.
- A customer-focused, professional attitude.
- Strong personal computer skills including sales tools/CRM applications.
- Highly motivated, competitive, and a self-starter.
- Detail oriented with e xcellent problem solving skills .
- BA or BS degree (preferably with a technical or business concentration).
- Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1-3 years of inside sales experience with quota-carrying responsibility
- Proven success selling enterprise software or hardware
