Account Representative - Inside Sales

Job Purpose

As a Software Inside Sales Representative for Redwood you will be responsible for sales activities, from lead generation through scheduling meetings for Outside Sales (Account Executives) within an assigned territory. Inside Sales develops and implements agreed upon Marketing Plan which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base in the marketing area. You will work within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas listed above that allows Sales Associate to give effective presentation of Redwood Products
  • Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers
  • Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on business owners, email, and networking
  • Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals
  • Demonstrates the ability to gather, submit detailed business information
  • Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory using Salesforce (CRM) to manage activities and opportunities
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
  • Responsible for customer account management with individual quota (ISAM)

Skills and Experience

  • 2-4 years of inside sales experience
  • Experience with enterprise software solutions and large, complex organizations
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Proven ability to achieve sales quotas
  • Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems
  • Able to deliver value propositions to executives
  • Understands the business value/organizational impact of workflow and/or process automation solution
  • Understands solution selling and has “business curiosity” - knows to ask the extra “why” questions when a pain is uncovered
  • Understands organizational structure of F1000 companies
  • Is familiar with the procurement process, MSA’s, SLA’s, and SOWs
  • Problem solving/conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Basic computer knowledge, CRM experience, proficiency in MS Outlook
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, or equivalent work experience
